Helicopter transportable metal tanks

At the moment, the way in which agents in the sector transport fuel aerially is in flexible tanks. These containers are potentially risky since they are made from a very delicate material and are not protected against sharp objects that could affect their integrity.

As a response to this situation, Logística Selva is providing an innovative alternative for aerial fuel transport as a means of improving its operations.

We have designed a helicopter transportable tank (external cargo) in keeping with quality, safety, and environmental protection standards.

The helicopter transportable metal tank underwent engineering tests related to transport systems (tank and framework) and was validated after testing the design in a structural and fluid–structure interaction simulation using CAE ANSYS 14.0 finite element and volume analysis numerical modeling methods which will determine its efficiency and safety.
